The Kiwanis Club Of Valley Of The Sun Phoenix ("VOSK") is a service organization comprised of caring men and women from all walks of life. Our objective is to bring aid to children in need. The majority of our efforts benefit children in the Greater Phoenix area and surrounding communities. A portion of the funds we raise go to help meet Kiwanis International objectives which focus on the special needs of young children from prenatal development to age five.

Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world one child and one community at a time.

Valley Of The Sun Phoenix Kiwanis Club serves by sponsoring fund raising activities, which provide monetary support for children’s programs and through personal involvement in the giving of our time and skills.  If you are interested in participating in community service or helping children in need, we encourage you to learn more about us here on our site or at a club meeting. We meet the first and third Wednesday of every month from 12:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at the Phoenix Country Club, located at 2901 North 7th Street, on the northeast corner of 7th Street and Thomas Road, in central Phoenix.

The six permanent Objects of Kiwanis International were approved in 1924 and have remained unchanged for decades.

Object 1 - To give primacy to the human and spiritual rather than to the material values of life.

Object 2 - To encourage the daily living of the Golden Rule in all human relationships.

Object 3 - To promote the adoption and the application of higher social, business, and professional standards.

Object 4 - To develop, by precept and example, a more intelligent, aggressive, and serviceable citizenship.

Object 5 - To provide, through Kiwanis clubs, a practical means to form enduring friendships, to render altruistic service, and to build better communities.

Object 6 - To cooperate in creating and maintaining that sound public opinion and high idealism which make possible the increase of righteousness, justice, patriotism, and goodwill.

Service is at the heart of every Kiwanis club, no matter where in the world it’s located. Kiwanis members stage nearly 150,000 service projects, devote more than 6 million hours of service and raise nearly US $100 million every year for communities, families and projects. Key Club members pitch in 12 million hours of service each year, and CKI members another 500,000 hours of service! Aktion Club members donate another 92,000 hours of service every year. Add it all up, and that’s more than 18 million hours of service every year!
